An MISOCP-Based Solution Approach to the Reactive Optimal Power Flow Problem

چکیده
In this letter, we present an alternative mixed-integer non-liner programming formulation of the reactive optimal power flow (ROPF) problem. We utilize a second-order cone (MISOCP) based approach to find global solutions proposed ROPF problem formulation. strengthen MISOCP relaxation via addition convex envelopes and cutting planes. Computational experiments on challenging test cases show that MISOCP-based yields promising results compared semidefinite from literature.
